I am teaching project postdoctoral fellow at the University of British Columbia interested in using evidence-based teaching practices to improve the classes I teach. My past research was in mathematical biology where I used analytical tools from mathematics to better understand ecological systems. I received a PhD in Applied Mathematics at the University of Alberta, supervised by Mark Lewis, which was focused on the dynamics of marine metapopulations, with a specific focus on the factors that affect the spread of sea louse parasites between salmon farms.
